I am a young woman who has suffered from debilitating depression as long as I can remember. In addition, I have suffered through anorexia and a host of related illnesses over the years.  Through several intensive therapy programs, weekly talk therapy, neuro feedback, various medication cocktails, innumerable New Age studies, self medication and regulation attempts involving large amounts of alcohol, and many more deeply dysfunctional and painful behavior patterns which hurt myself and all those I love, a prolonged period of Christian Fundamentalist zealotry, and ultimately 3 weeks while I was suicidal in the Psych Ward at UCLA I found no relief.

About a year after getting out of the hospital and going to neurofeedback, I was referred to Melinda Allec. While I wouldn’t call myself a skeptic per se, I did not have much hope nor did I know anything about shamans.  In addition, I had already tried a few energy healers (including one very famous person) with extremely poor results.  So with all this in mind, I tentatively gave Melinda a try.

What resulted from only one session with Melinda, on the phone no less has been nothing short of a true divine miracle.  Immediately, I felt at peace and no longer haunted by the past and many other things.  I felt, and continue to feel, full of energy and vitality.  I have no need for anti-depressants (although, I went off of them with a doctor’s care and caution anyone reading to do the same.)  Things that I used to crave, like alcohol, sugar, etc., are now distasteful to me.  I work the maximum number of hours at my job and enjoy myself. Gifts I never knew I had an affinity for are beginning to come to light, and I can focus on things now.  Anyone who has experience with depression knows that is one of the biggest struggles.  I could go on and on, but basically, I am well , I continue to feel better each day and I continue to work with Melinda.

If anyone reading this has any hesitations about working with this type of healing modality, I implore you to step out in faith and try.  Even if you have no hope left, or feel you can’t afford it, try.  My family and I have spent tens of thousands of dollars and lost years of my life trying other things that did not work.  This one session would have been worth a hundred times as much.  I am so grateful I found Melinda when I did; I only wish I had found her sooner.  She is so gifted and caring, and she truly understands the battle you may be going through.  Please read her story as well and click that paypal button!  You have everything to gain.

I came to Melinda to heal my issues of insecurity. It showed up in different areas of my life, but in a really big way with my boyfriend. I would become very jealous and nervous and these feelings were ruining me. Trust was a big problem for me, even though my boyfriend would always assure me he was committed to me.
